Self-aligning ball bearing is double row ball bearings, comprised double raceway of inside ring, double row steel balls, outside ring with raceway of spherical face. The functions of self-aligning ball bearing are aligning housing that compensate coaxial fulcrum on axes of spindle of bearing,and compensate angle deviation and wind degree effect. Mainly it can be subject to radial load and some axial load as well. There is low limit speed.As rezult of little contact area of steal ball with raceway, So there is low load and using life.
Except basic type of self aligning ball bearing,there is also derivative structure,like tapered hole,tapered hole with adapter steeve or double shield
