single-row taper roller bearings
These bearings can only limit the axial movement of either the shaft or the houusing in one direction,
and can carry axial load in one direction. When with only radial load, the axial forct two of the bearings be
put in face-to-face or back-to-back arrangements in application.
Double-rom taper roller bearings
This design can make the bearing carry radial load and simultaneously the axial load in dou ble direc
tions . ls possible to limit the axial movement of the shaft or the housing indouble directions within the sco
pe of the axial load clearanse.
Four-row taper roller roller bearings
The functions and features of these bearings are basically the same as those sf the double-row design.
However, they can carry heavier load than the double-row taper roller bearings,but with slightly slower rotaional
speed. Applications of these bearings can be found in the heavy machines suchas the rolling mills.
Cages
Normally these taper roller bearings use pressed basket-shaped cages of steet. But for cages with grea
ter machined dimension, cages are also used.
Permissible misalignment
Usually for taper roller bearings there should be nomisalignment between the shaft and the housing bore .
Whenthere is misalignment, the angle should under no circumstances be grater than2'.
Clearance
Single-row taper roller bearings have clearance only when they are mounted, and the clearance can be defind
only when another bearing is located next to it in the opposite direction after tuning.For double-row and four- row taper
bearings the clearance can be provided according to the requirements and relative standards.

Single-row taper roller ball bearings can be used in pairs(their basic dimensions may differ), and when calculating
the radial load must be calculated and taken into consideration. The additional force S of single-row taper beraings can be

Both Fr and Fa indicate the total load working in the single-row and double-row and four-fow taper bearings.
